Job summary

Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC in Huntington, Indiana, is seeking a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to lead complex maintenance and automation projects and support plant reliability.

The Level A Technician role involves advanced diagnostics, system upgrades, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive innovation. On-site work, with pay up to $35.16/hr starting, and benefits starting day one.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent experience in industrial maintenance.
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Expertise in PLC programming, automation, and controls.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Strategic thinking and continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to work independently and mentor junior technicians.
• Time management and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced troubleshooting and repair of complex systems.
• Full PLC diagnostics and minor programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.).
• Maintain SCADA and HMI systems.
• Robotics and automation systems support.
• Perform advanced electrical diagnostics and controls work.
• Manage maintenance projects and system upgrades and retrofits.
• Technical training and development of team members.
• Communicate and assist with outside vendors.
• Perform electrical panel work and wiring (all voltages).
