Job summary

Leprino Foods Company is seeking Maintenance Technicians for the Allendale facility to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment ensuring peak production reliability.

The role focuses on mechanical/electrical systems, PLCs, VFDs, and instrumentation with a strong emphasis on safety, GMPs, and food‑safety procedures in a 2:00 PM–10:30 PM shift. Occasional overtime and weekend coverage are required.

Qualifications

• 3 years of production/manufacturing/industrial maintenance experience or 2 years with relevant technical education.
• Hands‑on experience with industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Knowledge of machine repair, pneumatics, compressed air, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment documentation.
• Read and work with PLC‑controlled equipment, ladder logic, and related automation.
• Willingness to work 2:00 PM–10:30 PM second shift, weekends/holidays as needed.
• Must be able to lift 75+ pounds and climb stairs/ladders.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment to maximize reliability.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, plumbing, and air systems.
• Repair 3‑phase electrical equipment and instrumentation.
• Support PLC‑controlled equipment and automation systems.
• Install, modify, and maintain plant equipment and facility systems.
• Read electrical schematics and equipment drawings accurately.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance per SOPs and GMPs.
• Use tools to complete repairs and coordinate with teams for safe operation.
• Identify issues and ensure safe, efficient return to production; follow LOTO and food safety rules.
• Support 24/7 operations with weekend/holiday overtime as needed.
