Description
This position is responsible for maintaining the electrical and mechanical condition of the production equipment to maximize production, minimize scrap, and ensure machines achieve maximum run time.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate with line operators at shift start to determine products and production order.
• Perform electrical and mechanical procedures to meet production schedules.
• Assist in changing over and adjusting equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests to keep lines running.
• Conduct quality checks and address machine issues.
• Complete daily maintenance, rebuilds, and projects.
• Perform repairs during line downtimes and seek help if needed.
• Record data on downtime, parts, and machine issues.
• Train and develop team members and machine operators.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic machining tasks.
• Ensure food packaging safety, quality, and defense standards.
• Participate as an alternate team member for coverage.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
Ability to lift 35 lbs., stand for ten hours (twelve during busy season), and walk up and down steps.
