Job summary

Vantage is seeking a skilled maintenance technician in Chicago to provide repair and preventive maintenance across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems in a chemical manufacturing setting.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to pass required trade tests. Shift is 2pm–10pm with training from 6am–2pm; union pay applies with benefits outlined.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of applicable maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant.
• Ability to pass third party trade tests as required.
• Shift: permanent 2pm-10pm with training 6am-2pm for 6–12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide repair and maintenance support in mechanical, electrical and instrumentation areas.
• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Read manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance.
• Follow all safety procedures and use tools and equipment properly.
• Install and upgrade plant equipment and document work orders.
