Great Northern Twin Cities is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician in Brooklyn Park, MN. The role focuses on troubleshooting and repairing plant operations machinery, electrical systems, hydraulics and pneumatics, with a shift schedule from 2:45pm to 11:15pm.

A first-shift training period is expected for 1–2 months. The position offers competitive pay of $33–$39 per hour plus a $2.00/hour shift differential, and opportunities to grow within our safety‑conscious, team‑oriented plant

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic/pneumatic systems and minor electrical outages.
• Welding and basic fabrication skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical breakdowns in plant operations equipment.
• Repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems and related machinery.
• Assist with office moves, adds, and changes; preventative maintenance work.
• Operate forklifts and use shop tools to repair or fabricate parts.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain clean, organized work areas.
