Job summary

Smithfield Foods, Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift in Grayson, KY. This on-site role involves troubleshooting and repairing production equipment across electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.

You will maintain plant equipment, perform routine maintenance, and take on other duties as assigned. Applicants should have strong mechanical skills and be willing to complete MTP training.

Qualifications

• Good mechanical skills and ability to read and understand written instructions.
• Experience with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic or mechanical systems preferred.
• Willingness to complete maintenance level 4 training.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment and systems.
• Maintain all plant equipment and support preventive maintenance.
• Handle additional assigned duties as needed.
