Job summary

ADM is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Forsyth, Missouri. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment and structures to keep production running smoothly. The 2nd shift runs Monday–Thursday 2:30pm–1:00am with optional overtime on Fridays.

The base pay is $19.00 per hour plus a $2.00 per hour shift differential. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of related experience, with ability to interpret manuals and communicate

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1–2 years related experience or equivalent
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to speak effectively with vendors and group of employees
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment
• Diagnose problems by listening for unusual sounds and consulting with supervisors
• Dismantle defective machines and install parts
• Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears and other parts
• Install and repair electrical and electronic components of machinery
• Maintain parts inventory and track via computer system
• Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Repair gauges, valves and regulators
• Install/program/repair automated machinery like PLCs
• Operate machine tools to repair or fabricate parts
• Operate welding equipment as required
• Maintain diagnostic equipment
