Job summary

IES Infrastructure Solutions in Manitowoc, WI is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift. You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on machines and facilities to meet production needs.

The role requires basic mechanical skills, ability to work independently, and adherence to safety and continuous improvement initiatives. Excellent opportunity to contribute to a growing industrial services team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting is required.
• Any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education approved by Human Resources.

Responsibilities

• Install and dismantle equipment.
• Change out weld power supplies.
• Exchange bevellers for service.
• Change flux handling equipment.
• Swap trunnions for repair.
• Change out VFD/transformers.
• Perform preventative maintenance (PM) on equipment (mobile and stationary).
• Do basic repairs on equipment.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks (plumbing, changing light bulbs and filters).
• Record downtime, repair, and PM time in FIIX.
• Remove items from inventory in FIIX.
• Complete assigned tasks with minimal assistance.
• Operate yard equipment for repairs and safe transportation of equipment.
• Daily inspection of rigging and mobile equipment.
• Perform proper rigging techniques with assistance.
• Actively support all EHS and continuous improvement initiatives.
