Job summary

Cintas Corporation seeks a Maintenance Technician I (2nd Shift) to support an industrial laundry facility in Gilroy, CA. You will repair, maintain and troubleshoot equipment including washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors and boilers, and perform preventive maintenance.

Required: 2+ years in industrial equipment repair, ability to read English maintenance literature and blueprints, and a HS diploma/GED; standing up to 7 hours. Preferred: boiler knowledge, HVAC, welding (MIG/TIG/ARC).

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience repairing industrial processing equipment.
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.
• Experience with and ability to read a blueprint.
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Preferred: boiler knowledge.
• Preferred: HVAC experience.
• Preferred: welding (MIG/TIG/ARC) and cutting.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, install and troubleshoot industrial equipment such as washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors and boilers.
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance and maintain maintenance records.
• Assist with safety improvements and housekeeping in the facility.
