Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team. The role involves ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment within our forging manufacturing facility.

Job Duties:

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on forging equipment such as presses, furnaces, cranes, compressors, and hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues.
• Monitor machinery performance and identify issues proactively.
• Coordinate with production teams, engineers, and maintenance staff.
• Adjust machines and equipment to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including Lockout/Tagout and PPE use.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using CMMS or similar tools.
• Respond to urgent maintenance calls during shifts and on-call hours.
• Assist in installing and calibrating new equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.

What You Need to Be Successful:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Ability to stand, bend, walk, and operate a forklift throughout the day
• Ability to withstand high temperatures for extended periods
• Ability to lift or move at least 40 lbs
• Experience in industrial maintenance
• Solid understanding of maintenance for heavy industry equipment, preferably in the closed die forging industry
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals
• Troubleshooting skills for industrial equipment
