Salary Range: $25.00 To $30.00 Hourly
Performs a variety of duties relating to equipment maintenance, repair, & optimization in a facility specializing in sauces, dressings, marinades, and other fluid consumable goods. These duties include but are not limited to maintenance and optimization of current equipment, maintenance of overall plant and building infrastructure, provide technical support to other departments (i.e. sales, production, QA, and R&D), managing spare parts inventory and associated vendors, and overseeing work order execution, completion, and inspection when performed by outside contractors while adhering to all policies & procedures established by Signature Sauces, FDA, USDA, and/or any outside auditing programs/companies and maintaining a safe and ergonomic working environment.

Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. This position requires a well-organized individual that is self motivated and takes charge, is dependable and responsible, enjoys new opportunities and challenges, enjoys working with and developing people, deals with criticism calmly and effectively, is attentive to detail and is thorough in completing tasks as assigned and on time, is flexible and open to change. Must be knowledgeable in pneumatic, electric, & steam systems & their associated components, liquid pumps (PD & centrifugal), PLC’s, HMI’s, electric motors, and gearboxes.
Able to read, analyze, and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, electric and pneumatic schematics, general business periodicals, and or governmental regulations. Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, staff and managers.
Ability to work with mathematical and mechanical concepts such as probability, electricity, pneumatics, steam, and weights and measures.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is required to regularly stand, stoop, kneel and walk. The employee must frequently lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. The work environment is quick paced in close quarters. Exposure to heat from equipment and products is frequent. Exposure to cool temperatures form coolers/freezers is occasional.
