Job summary

IKO Industries Ltd. in Texas seeks a Maintenance Technician to maintain production and quality by ensuring the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will support the 4pm-2am shift, Monday through Friday, and work to minimize downtime. You will learn the processes, operate site equipment, utilize CMMS, perform inspections, dismantling and reassembly with hand and power tools, and uphold safety standards through LOTO procedures and a strong

  • 3 years maintenance experience in manufacturing environment.

  • Learning the processes of how products are made and all the steps that go into it.
  • Learning about site-specific equipment and how it should properly function.
  • Maintaining smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.
  • Troubleshooting specific industrial equipment using precise measuring and testing instruments.
  • Dismantling and reassembling equipment using hand and power tools.
  • Inspecting wear and remaining useful life of power transmission components.
  • Utilizing a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by following company procedures and regulations.

Role: Maintenance Technician Shift: 4pm-2am Mon-Friday

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with the Company’s procedures, rules, and regulations.
Qualifications
  • The position is subject to 24-hour call-out, shift, and weekend work.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods.
  • Must be able to climb stairs and work in high-up areas.
  • Proven experience working in and maintaining a safe work environment with intimate knowledge of LOTO procedures or other relevant safety practices
  • 3 years maintenance experience in manufacturing environment
  • Millwright skills, welding and machining experience preferred
  • Excellent working knowledge of appropriate use of hand tools and maintenance equipment
  • Ability to read and understand detailed repair & instruction manuals
  • Must be able to work with computer-based maintenance software
  • Must supply own hand tools appropriate to the equipment and environment
