Main Responsibilities

• The maintenance tech will be responsible for servicing and troubleshooting the plant.
• Perform plant maintenance.
• Preventative maintenance on aggregate processing equipment.
• Maintenance tasks include belt conveyors, belt splicing, changing bearings, greasing, and replacing wear parts.
• Must be able to weld and do fabrication of chutes and various items.

• Must have maintenance experience.
• Must have experience working with heavy mobile equipment.
• Must have the ability to operate mobile equipment.
• Must be a motivated, take-charge type of person who works well independently.
• Must follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments while maintaining a safe work environment and safe work habits.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Physical Demands

This job requires the ability to lift, pull, and push a minimum of 50 lbs., bend, stoop, kneel, reach, squat, twist, and climb heavy equipment several times throughout the day, and balance at heights up to 6 feet from ground level. In addition, you must have the ability to be on your feet regularly and use hands, arms, and legs repeatedly on the job. This includes frequently walking on sloped ground and slippery and uneven surfaces, as well as working in confined areas.
