Job summary

DanHil Containers II Ltd. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support production operations by ensuring maximum equipment uptime through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.

This role is critical in minimizing downtime, improving efficiency, and maintaining a safe working environment. The Maintenance Technician will work closely with machine operators and manufacturing supervisors to quickly diagnose and resolve mechanical issues.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing equipment repair, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Practical knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electric machine controls.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with teams and stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to adapt to fast-paced environments.
• Flexibility to work weekends and extended shifts as needed.
• 1+ years of experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics and technical drawings.
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize equipment failures and production interruptions.
• Diagnose, modify, lubricate, and operate equipment while maintaining industrial control systems.
• Work independently and as part of a team to ensure timely and safe repairs.
• Complete and report all repairs at the end of the shift, including required documentation of parts and material usage.
• Follow plant safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Ensure facilities and production equipment are maintained in a safe and efficient working condition.
• Perform setup, startup, shutdowns, maintenance repairs, and PMs on production equipment.
• Utilize a wide variety of machine tools and equipment to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
