Job Description - Manufacturing Maintenance Tech.


JOB SUMMARY:

Working under the general direction of the Facilities Manager, the Maintenance Tech will be responsible for providing maintenance support.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist Facilities Manager in building upgrades and repairs.
  • Maintain production equipment in safe, optimal operating condition to help ensure the protection of all plant employees and visitors.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repair of production equipment from blueprints, technical manuals, or vendor specifications.
  • Recognize and perform machine adjustments to various manufacturing machine systems.
  • Assist with installation, testing, and validation of new production equipment.
  • Understand, follow, and maintain proper records for safety procedures and requirements.
  • Conduct continuous monitoring of process and production equipment for proper operation.
  • Participate in equipment changeovers as necessary.
  • Notify Facilities Manager of any potential equipment issues or other noted abnormalities.
  • Assist coworkers with production or other tasks as requested.
  • Safety is First priority.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Individual must be mechanically inclined and able to read blueprints.
  • Some electrical and maintenance background.
