Job summary

HuFriedyGroup is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for our Lawrenceville, GA facility to perform preventive maintenance on manual, semi-automated and automated equipment. You will support installation, testing, and validation of new production equipment while following strict safety procedures.

The role requires diagnosing faults across electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems and maintaining accurate documentation.

Qualifications

Ability to read electrical schematics, ladder diagrams, and machine blueprints.
Strong troubleshooting across electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic systems.
Experience training other maintenance staff.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on manual, semi-automated, and automated equipment.
Adjust machine systems, sensors, interlocks, and inputs following safety procedures.
Analyze faults using PLC displays, CNC panels, or similar interfaces.
Maintain calibration certificates, maintenance logs, and machine history.
Assess and implement repairs to electrical, pneumatics, plumbing, HVAC, and lighting systems.
Assist Engineering with installation, testing and validation of new production equipment.
Prioritize planned and unplanned work based on safety and production needs.
Follow Lock Out Tag Out and Arc Flash procedures per HSE guidelines.
Identify components, suppliers; manage requisitions and purchases.
Perform other duties as assigned.
