Momentive Technologies in Strongsville, OH, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the 2nd shift to repair, maintain, and troubleshoot plant machinery, HVAC, and supporting infrastructure. You will perform preventative maintenance, align with safety standards, and work with a range of building trades to keep production running smoothly.

The role requires at least 5 years of hands-on manufacturing maintenance experience across electrical, fabrication, welding, piping, and machining.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience as a maintenance crafts-person in manufacturing settings including electrical, fabrication, repair, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, piping, welding, millwright, carpentry, sheet metal, rigging, plumbing, and machining.
• Proficiency with safety, environmental, maintenance, quality guidelines, standards, codes and procedures.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting across plant machinery, equipment, and building systems.
• Execute tasks in construction trades related to building maintenance (pipe fitting, welding, millwright work, carpentry, sheet metal, rigging, plumbing).
• Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems and understand electrical equipment with safety practices.
• Interpret sketches, blueprints, and conceptual designs; operate precision tools and machine setups.
• Maintain organized work areas and coordinate with vendors for materials.
