Job summary

RON SUNSHINE ASSOCIATES LLC in the Charlotte area is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the 2nd shift to lead maintenance techs and ensure reliable operation of beverage manufacturing equipment. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership and proactive maintenance strategies.

The successful candidate will oversee daily maintenance, coordinate repairs, develop staff through coaching, and partner with Production, Quality, and Safety to meet plant standards and food safety requirements.

Qualifications

Five to seven years of industrial maintenance experience.
At least two years of education beyond high school.
Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, hydraulics, PLCs, and industrial control networks.
Ability to troubleshoot production equipment and guide technicians.
Strong planning, communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.
Ability to coordinate contractors, maintenance schedules, and project expenses.
Availability to work the stated second-shift schedule.

Responsibilities

Lead maintenance technicians, set priorities, and ensure safe, effective work.
Coordinate emergency repairs while maintaining preventive maintenance.
Plan upcoming maintenance around technician availability and production schedules.
Investigate recurring equipment failures and apply root cause analysis.
Develop technicians through coaching and safety training.
Track work orders and maintenance performance to reduce downtime.
Support spare parts availability and organized storerooms.
Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Safety teams to meet requirements.
Coordinate contractors and vendors per plant safety procedures.
Manage smaller maintenance and capital projects, scheduling and costs.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and QA systems.
