Position Summary

The General Labor Maintenance Associate will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our farm equipment and vehicles. This role requires a skilled and productive individual who will be responsible for the maintenance of a diverse fleet, including but not limited to farm tractors, spray wagons, golf carts, forklifts, farm vehicles, and various small engine equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of small diesel engines.
• Experience in working on farm tractors.
• 12-volt electrical troubleshooting/repair experience.

Job Setting & Physical Demands

This position is primarily outdoors but may be required to work between locations and within an indoor office environment for administrative duties, which may require the use of computers and standard office equipment. Fluency to read, write, and understand the English language is required. Must be able to work in all outdoor elements, including various weather conditions and with dust and allergens. Position requires long-term (up to 8+hours/day) ability for walking, standing, sitting, squatting, bending, reaching, and twisting on a regular basis to fulfill essential duties. Position also requires utilization of fine motor skills, including but not limited to pinching, squeezing, and pulling. The candidate must have the ability to operate all machinery necessary within the department and across the facility, including the ability to obtain required certifications to operate such equipment, as necessary. Candidate also must have the ability to work at heights over 6 (six) feet. Candidate must be able to utilize and communicate through a cellular or radio-like device. Candidate must be able to work evenings and weekends as business needs arise and during peak seasons. Employee must have the ability to lift 50 pounds unaided, and regularly lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.
