Job Description

As a 2nd Shift Machinist IV, you will operate CNC Haas Mills, Robo drills, and Fanuc controls. You will be responsible for machine changeovers, setting up 3-axis CNC machines, ensuring the correct program is running without error for the next production run, inserting and adjusting fixtures, and performing tool touch-offs. Your role will also involve loading parts and using a wrench to bolt down fixtures into t-plates. Experience in a manufacturing environment with CNC machine operation is essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Haas Mills, Robo drills, and Fanuc controls.
• Conduct machine changeovers and set up 3-axis CNC machines.
• Ensure correct program execution for production runs.
• Insert and adjust fixtures and perform tool touch-offs.

• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, depth gauges, thread gauges, pin gauges, and other measuring tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Preferred one year of experience in machine operation with a HAAS CNC or relevant experience.
• Basic math skills.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

Work Environment

This position operates during the 2nd shift hours, from 2:15 PM to 10:45 PM. The work environment is a production setting, focusing on repetitive tasks rather than a job shop environment. Employees often work close to 50 hours regularly, with Saturdays open for optional work. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.25 - $30.25/hr.
