Shift: 2nd shift, with training on 1st shift for approximately 6 months.

The Vollrath Company in Kewaunee seeks an individual for Machine Setup/Operate at our Lakeside facility. This position requires training on 1st shift for about 6 months before transferring permanently to 2nd shift. There is a $1.00/hour 2nd shift premium.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a variety of metal stamping presses, punch presses, lathes, trimming and beading equipment, shears, spot welders, and imprint machines.
• Place dies, adjust tooling and guards, ensure first-piece quality, instruct operators, and train new set-ups.
• Use equipment including hammers, wrenches, clamps, ladders, forklifts, die carts, and other necessary tools.
