Job summary

Landscape Structures is seeking a Plasticwood Operator for 2nd shift in Delano, MN to set up and operate production machines, read blueprints, and adjust settings to meet specifications.

Hours are 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) and ESOP; profit sharing and paid time off are also available. Landscape Structures is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of machines in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to accurately read blueprints.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Committed to quality, safety and communication.
• Team-oriented and self-directed.
• High school diploma/GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production machines per established procedures and guidelines.
• Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to select, position and secure machinery.
• Apply a working knowledge of measuring tools and use devices to confirm parts meet specifications.
• Perform conversions, computations, and calculations to produce parts to specific specifications.
• Demonstrate knowledge of general shop and machine tool safety procedures.
