Job summary

Eaton Corporation is looking for a Machine Operator (2nd Shift) - Primaries to join our team in Reno, NV. This role involves operating assigned machines, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring quality control on parts. Candidates should have experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally with forming or bending machines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Six (6) months + of experience with forming or bending machines preferred.
• Six (6) months + of experience reading drawings or blueprints preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand and proficiently operate assigned machines/presses.
• Troubleshoot various machinery problems.
• Identify and tag tubs according to shop orders.
• QC and document all parts run on machines.
• Retrieve and enter data into SAP computer system.
• Keep work areas clean and safe.

Skills

Ability to operate machinery and presses safely

Ability to read, accurately interpret, and produce parts from blueprints and shop drawings

Ability to identify different gauges and types of raw material

Ability to accurately read tape measure, scales, and calipers

Ability to work effectively and productively as member of a team with minimal supervision
