Job summary

Standex International is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator for the 2nd shift in Sugar Land, TX. You will assemble, insulate, and process materials, using tablet-based documentation and multiple machines to support production. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and efficient setup and operation of equipment.

You'll be cross-trained on several machines, perform routine inspections, and document travelers and logs to maintain quality standards. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have high school education or equivalent.
• Basic math and reading skills are required.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with tablets help.
• Experience in manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety, quality, and business policies.
• Use a tablet to generate production documentation.
• Set up and operate manufacturing equipment in assigned area.
• Perform setup, inspections, and document travelers and logs.
• Maintain tools and equipment and perform basic PM.
• Meet required quality and productivity standards.
• Cross-train on multiple machines and switch as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
