Job summary

Hörmann LLC in Sparta, TN is seeking a reliable 2nd shift Machine Operator II to set up and run presses, un-coilers, and roll-formers to produce garage door sections. You will read prints, use measuring tools, and maintain a safe, organized workplace. Must have a HS diploma and 3 years of manufacturing experience; forklift and crane certification preferred.

Hours are 4 pm–2:30 am. Starting pay is $18.50/hr plus a $1 shift differential, with a benefits package including a 401(k) with company

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent with at least three years of progressive manufacturing or sheet metal fabrication experience.
• Ability to read, interpret prints/drawings and work instructions to ensure compliance.
• Must promote a safe and clean work environment and maintain 6S standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate relevant production equipment or tools.
• Fulfill production orders and meet inventory requirements at prescribed rates.
• Read and measure products to prints/drawings and work instructions to ensure compliance.
• Maintain knowledge of manufacturing methods and related equipment.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and operate forklift/cranes as required.
• Work overtime as needed to meet customer demands.
