Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the operation of juice line packaging machines, including but not limited to, Labelers, Douglas-packer, Kayat, Kisters, Filler, De-Palletizer, Palletizer, or other machines as assigned.
• Selects proper material for product being packed.
• Coordinates all in-feed conveyor functions to maintain consistent production rates.
• Maintains work area in a sanitary and orderly condition.
• Assists maintenance personnel in repairing breakdowns pertaining to the machine being operated.
• Responsible for machine and area clean-up at end of each shift.
• Notifies the supervisor of all abnormal conditions relating to the machine being operated.

Occasional Duties:

• Performs minor maintenance and/or mechanical adjustments as required.
• Keeps accurate records of all material usage.
• Performs other duties relating to the overall effort as directed.

Skill Requirements:

• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and move materials, tools, and objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Endure bending, crouching, pushing, pulling, reaching, stooping.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, and work in hot temperatures.

Training Period:

Five (5) - Thirty (30) days
