2nd shift Machine Operator Class 3 Level 1 PWB

Join the team at Central Garden & Pet as a 2nd shift Class 3 Machine Operator at our Chilton, WI location. This role involves setting up and operating machines, palletizers, and scales, working four 10-hour days (Monday through Thursday) to enjoy long weekends.

Responsibilities include:
  • Accurately mixing ingredients according to formulas and delivering them to packaging bins
  • Performing quality assurance checks for accurate mixing
  • Scheduling and planning mixing operations
  • Communicating with team members and supervisors
  • Recording inventory transactions accurately
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work area
  • Reporting food safety issues
Ideal candidate attributes:
  • High school diploma preferred
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
  • Proficient in math
  • Safe operation of forklift and handcart
  • Independent, accurate, and organized
  • Ability to operate RF scanners and perform physical tasks like bending, twisting, and climbing
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
