Job summary

Skybox Packaging in Mansfield, OH is seeking a 2nd Shift Machine Operator to operate production equipment, maintain quality, and ensure safe, efficient manufacturing of finished goods. Shift runs 2:00 p.m.

to 10:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with some Saturday overtime; compensation is $21 per hour plus a $2.00 per hour shift differential. Ideal candidates have manufacturing experience, can read a tape measure, and can lift up to 70 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must have manufacturing experience.
• Standing for long periods of time.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Bending, lifting, twisting on a continuous basis.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs.
• Ability to clearly communicate with material handlers, other employees and managers as needed.
• Attention to detail and high level of numerical accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience assisting on multi color flexographic press is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment to produce finished goods.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform quality checks prior to each job and during production runs.
• Maintain documented checklist for quality checks and ink monitoring.
• Keep machine setup and run times at maximum efficiency.
• Troubleshoot quality or machine issues as they occur.
• Identify damaged tooling and report issues to supervision.
• Maintain proper production reporting.
• Other duties as assigned by supervision.
