Job summary

Core hours are 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM in a hands-on environment; opportunities to earn more through quarterly bonuses as skills and responsibilities increase.

Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing or machine operation preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to read work instructions.
  • Strong safety and quality focus.

Responsibilities

  • Operate assigned manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Set up, adjust, and monitor machines to maintain production and quality standards.
  • Load and unload materials according to production orders, work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
  • Inspect finished products and perform quality checks to identify defects or inconsistencies.
  • Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections, cleaning, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting as trained.
  • Work with Process Technicians, Maintenance, Quality, and Supervisors to resolve production issues.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including PPE, machine guarding, and lockout/tagout requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Participate in cross-training and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrate dependable attendance, punctuality, teamwork, and professionalism.

What You’ll Do

As a Machine Operator, you’ll play an important role in keeping production running safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. You may be trained on a variety of equipment, including laser cutting machines, gasket machines, JCEM pleating machines, metal shearing equipment, and other production machinery.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Operate assigned manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently
  • Set up, adjust, and monitor machines to maintain production and quality standards
  • Load and unload materials according to production orders, work instructions, drawings, and specifications
  • Inspect finished products and perform quality checks to identify defects or inconsistencies
  • Complete production and quality documentation accurately

What We’re Looking For

You don’t need to know how to operate every machine on day one. We’re looking for people who are dependable, mechanically inclined, willing to learn, and take pride in doing quality work.

Ideal candidates will have:
  • Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Basic mechanical aptitude
  • Basic math and measurement skills
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions
  • Strong attention to safety and quality
  • Ability to identify quality issues and make basic machine adjustments
  • Willingness to learn new equipment and manufacturing processes
  • Strong work ethic and team‑oriented attitude
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
Schedule & Work Environment

Core business hours are generally 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, though schedules may vary based on production needs and company operations.

This is a hands‑on manufacturing environment where you’ll work around production equipment and may experience varying temperatures.
