Job summary

Brakebush Brothers, Inc. is seeking a 2nd Shift Machine Operator in Mocksville, NC. The role operates processing machines to meet product specs, following quality and safety standards, reporting to the Production Supervisor.

Work hours are 4:30 PM to end of production, Monday-Thursday with potential weekends and overtime, full-time employment. Responsibilities include machine setup, batch loading, data entry, and adherence to HACCP guidelines and safety training.

Qualifications

• Must complete required safety trainings such as Lock Out/Tag Out and Hazard Communication.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, lift and twist up to 8 hours per day.
• SAP experience a plus.

• Set up and operate processing machines, including adjustments like level, speed, belt height, and temperature checks.
• Follow batch sheets and load formulation information for each product code.
• Accurately complete paperwork and enter into computer systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Arrangement:

POSITION: Machine Operator HOURS: 4:30 PM - until the end of production .Monday through Thur, with availability to work weekends and overtime.

EMPLOYMENT: Full time

JOB SUMMARY: Operates equipment to meet product specification and production standards, following all quality and safety requirements while communicating with production team.

JOB DUTIES:

• Set up and operate processing machines, including leveling, filling, speed and other mechanical adjustments such as belt height, scraping tubes, filter checks, temperature checks, batter tests, oil monitoring, etc.
• Perform set up and machine specifications by following batch sheet and load formulation information for each 8-digit product code specification.
• Accurately complete paperwork and enter it into computer systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Exposure to varying temperatures from warm to very cold; noise; humidity; moving vehicles; slippery floors; possible heavy and repeated lifting. Wear appropriate PPE and other equipment as necessary or required.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must complete required safety training for Lock Out/Tag Out, Powered Industrial Trucks, Hazard Communication, etc. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift and twist up to 8 hours per day. Must be able to perform basic data entry into a computer system on a Windows environment. SAP Experience a plus. Experience and knowledge with HACCP programs a plus.
