Job summary

Fox Factory, Inc. is seeking a machinist to set up and operate production equipment. You will read blueprints, monitor machines, feed raw materials, and inspect parts to meet daily targets while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The role requires 1+ year machinist experience in a manufacturing setting and physical ability to handle up to 50 lbs; a HS diploma or equivalent is required. This is an on-site position with a strong emphasis on 5S practices and accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Education: HS graduate or equivalent.
• Experience: 1+ years of prior machinist experience.
• Experience in manufacturing or manufacturing quality environment preferred.

Position Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate equipment/machinery to run production cycles.

• Adherence to 5S and cleanliness practices at all times.
• Ensure that all product is identified correctly and that non-conforming material is clearly identified and segregated and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
• Follow all instructions, policies and procedures.
• Follow all required safety processes and procedures; PPE, guards, cleanliness

Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required

• Good working knowledge of machinist functional and technical skills, controls and instrumentation
• Ability to read blueprints and other technical drawings and notes
• Effective time management and organizational skills
