HW Staffing Solutions is seeking a 2nd Shift Lumber Stacker/Inspector in Salisbury, NC. This role inspects, sorts, and stacks lumber, working near production machinery with a focus on safety and quality.

Ideal candidates have sawmill or manufacturing exposure, can operate conveyors and lumber processing equipment, and perform repetitive lifting up to 50 pounds in a fast-paced setting.

Formación

• Previous sawmill, lumber mill, or manufacturing experience is helpful.
• Experience working with industrial machinery, conveyors, or lumber processing equipment is ideal.
• Ability to safely stack and handle lumber in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect lumber for defects, damage, and quality standards.
• Feed lumber into production machinery and monitor material flow.
• Remove finished lumber from machines and stack according to specifications.
• Sort lumber by grade, size, and quality requirements.
• Keep production lines moving efficiently and safely.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
• Report equipment, safety, or quality issues to supervisors.
