Position Overview

This role involves lubricating and servicing the company's mobile equipment, ranging from pickup trucks to haul trucks and assorted paving and construction machinery.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies.
2. Perform engine oil and fuel system services.
3. Lubricate all lubrication points on equipment.
4. Identify the appropriate tools and equipment for each task.
5. Examine vehicles and identify potential maintenance issues.
6. Replace parts such as lights, brakes, bearings, and springs.
7. Service components like gearboxes, hydraulic systems, and engine oils.
8. Perform basic shop cleanup (floors, windows, walls, etc.).
9. Empty oil and trash containers.
10. Pick up parts and assist in delivering trucks.
11. Control costs on all repairs.
12. Work effectively in a team environment, assisting co-workers and supervisors as needed.
13. Maintain a professional and courteous attitude towards co-workers, supervisors, customers, and the public.
14. Adhere strictly to Pennsy Supply policies and procedures outlined in the employee handbook.
15. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Valid CDL Class B license.
• Ability to pass a drug screening and criminal background check.

Education and Experience

• Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems is advantageous.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Experience with diagnostic tools preferred.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Ability to operate various equipment for testing and repairs.
• Flexibility to work various shifts to meet customer demands.
