Job summary

Larksfield Place is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for full-time, 2nd shift in our Health Care Center in Wichita, Kansas. You will provide direct nursing care per resident care plans, administer medications and treatments, assess conditions, and support CNAs/CMAs.

The role emphasizes teamwork, compassionate care, and timely communication with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team. Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care is preferred; CPR is required and IV

Qualifications

• Current Kansas LPN license in good standing.
• Current CPR certification.
• IV certification preferred and eligible for extra pay.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per resident care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and physician orders.
• Assess and monitor resident conditions; communicate significant changes.
• Supervise CNAs and CMAs during shift.
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Respond promptly to resident needs and emergencies.
• Participate in shift reports and care conferences.
• Follow infection prevention and safety standards.
• Foster a resident-centered environment and teamwork.
