Job summary

Reporting to the Loin Superintendent, the position emphasizes training, attendance at meetings, and adherence to company policies, while maintaining records and fostering teamwork on the production floor.

Qualifications

• Supervise and direct personnel on shift to meet production schedules.
• Maintain safety, efficiency and productivity by applying company policies.
• Communicate effectively across shifts and departments; resolve conflicts.
• Ability to speak multiple languages is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Monitor machinery, equipment and facilities to ensure proper maintenance and sanitation.
• Arrange to have production records prepared and maintained (payroll, yields).
• Work with other supervisors and management to promote efficiency and teamwork.
• Attend meetings as scheduled or called and support continuous improvement.
• Apply labor relations and union contract policies in dealings with employees.
