The role includes P&L responsibility, payroll, vendor management, and customer invoicing, with a 4:30 PM–2:00 AM schedule and overtime during peak season.

The ideal candidate will lead diverse teams, drive performance, and ensure safety compliance while collaborating with senior leadership and customers to meet expectations.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
• 3+ years relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse.
• 2+ years managing direct reports.
• Excellent knowledge of transportation/warehouse logistics operations.
• Excellent knowledge of safety and security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage salaried and hourly employees, resolve performance issues, and ensure policy compliance.

We are immediately hiring a Logistics Manager in Columbus, OH for our Supply Chain Solutions division.

• Pay Type: Exempt / Salary paid Twice Per Month
• Annual Salary Pay: $90,000-$95,000
• Bonus Eligibility: 10% annually
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 4:30PM-2:00AM (Overtime required during peak season based on business needs)

Summary

The Manager Logistics is responsible to manage all activities associated with the efficient operation of accounts. This includes P&L responsibility, ensuring customer satisfaction, compliance, employee relations and safety.

Essential Functions

• Manage the performance of salaried employees as well as hourly paid employees under his/her responsibility, resolve performance issues, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with senior management and customers to determine their needs and expectations and operate the account to meet those demands.
• Be responsible for the payroll of employees.
• Analyze weekly and monthly P&L statement to determine account profitability, and provide financial data and weekly operations report to senior management.
• Be responsible for accounts payable, vendor quotes for purchased materials, and customer invoicing.
• Hold Safety & Security meetings, provide safety training and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Additional Responsibilities

• Must be available to work on a flexible schedule on the various work shifts

Compensation Information

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type.
