Job summary

Merchants Distributors, Inc. (MDI) is hiring a 2nd shift Loader to verify orders, load trailers, and ensure correct, damage-free deliveries. You will use RF equipment to sequence loads, follow safety rules, and collaborate with the team to maintain efficient flow of products through loading.

Responsibilities include stacking and loading pallets, updating load sheets, and maintaining safe operation of equipment. Weekly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and perform basic math operations.
• Must be able to operate equipment mounted RF computer.
• Must maintain a minimum weekly productivity average of 18 pallet scans/hour.
• Must follow safety guidelines and company procedures.
• Ability to stack and load pallets with proper sequencing.

Responsibilities

• Loads trailers in the proper sequence to avoid damage.
• Operate Stand Up Pallet Jack safely and efficiently.
• Account for all pallets and commodities.
• Assemble loads with labels facing out for easy unloading.
• Complete load sheets and paperwork.
• Adhere to food safety and defense procedures.
• Perform other duties as needed.
