The Line Leader's role is to setup, startup and run consistent processes on their machines as defined by the Process Engineer. The Line Leader may be assisted by the Support Team during product change over, but it is still the Line Leader's responsibility. The Line Leader is responsible for performing validation of the molding process through-out the production run. If the process validation does not meet the standard, the Line Leader must stop and fix! If unable to diagnose and/or fix the issue, the Line Leader will contact their Supervisor for assistance.

In addition, the Line Leader is responsible for making sure the Operator understands the next person to touch their parts is the customer… and a disappointed customer means we fail while a happy customer means we succeed!
