Job summary

Qualdoc in Hanover, PA is seeking a Misc Metals Shop Foreman. This full-time, 2nd shift role oversees day-to-day fabrication operations, staffing, safety, and quality to meet production priorities.

You will collaborate with the Plant Manager and Operations Manager to drive efficiency and adherence to specifications. Applicants should have 5–10 years in miscellaneous metals fabrication and experience leading a shop team, with strong communication skills and a solid grasp of safety and QA/QC

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of miscellaneous metals fabrication experience.
• Foreman or fabrication leadership experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of miscellaneous metals fabrication operations.
• Experience managing labor and scheduling.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of fabrication safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily miscellaneous metals fabrication operations and production schedules.
• Coordinate manpower and workflow to maximize shop efficiency.
• Provide production status updates and KPI data.
• Supervise fitters, welders, operators and laborers; develop the team.
• Enforce safety policies and QA/QC standards; address deficiencies.
• Coordinate with QC, maintenance, purchasing and logistics teams.
