Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a 2nd Shift Lead Machinist at our facility in Decatur, TX. The Lead Machinist will work on parts and coordinate machining operations during the second shift, including setting up and operating machine tools, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a safe working environment. Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints and technical documents, troubleshooting CNC mills or lathes, and collaborating with team members to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Machining Skills: Proficient in operating and setting up CNC milling or turning centers
• Technical Knowledge: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Quality Assurance: Experience with precision measurement tools and quality control processes
• Leadership Abilities: A servant leader, who can get the best out of others with very little oversight
• Problem-Solving: Capable of troubleshooting and resolving machining issues efficiently
