Job summary

Vestis Corporation is seeking a 2nd Shift Wash Operator for our industrial laundry facility in Texas. You will work as part of a team to ensure safe, expeditious, and accurate handling of merchandise through washers and dryers, following all safety procedures and batch documentation.

Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, loading and unloading machines, recording batch data, maintaining product quality, and enforcing cleanliness and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow training, written, and verbal instructions.
• Working knowledge of basic math for batch tickets and weights.
• Good verbal and written communication skills for ticketing and team coordination.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a production setting.
• Must meet attendance schedule and be reliable.

Responsibilities

• Check all machine safety devices before operating equipment and record inspections.
• Load washers/dryers with slings and batches, following batch tickets.
• Record batch information on machine forms and keep batch tickets accessible.
• Verify moisture levels and ensure items are properly cooled and handled.
• Identify torn slings and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
