Munters Corporation in Selma, TX is seeking a Laser Press Operator for 2nd shift to set up and operate fiber laser cutting equipment. You will read blueprints and BOMs, lay out cuts, and ensure parts meet exact specifications while maintaining efficient production flow.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, the ability to interpret job information, and adherence to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints, BOMs and production paperwork.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Work from job packets, BOM, blueprints, drawings, and/or production schedule.
• Perform machine startup and shutdown procedures on fiber laser cutting equipment.
• Label completed parts with appropriate part number and manage material flow.
• Verify conformance of first piece to specifications using calipers, gauges, and measuring tape.
• Perform quality checks and document production data.
• Stage completed parts for movement to maintain workflow.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and assist with inventories.
• Participate in meetings and adapt to evolving requirements.
