Job summary

Transco Rail Services, part of Marmon Holdings, is seeking a Laborer to support basic railcar repairs and assist with repair tasks according to layouts, orders, and blueprints.

You will read specifications and shop drawings, work in adverse weather, lift up to 50 pounds, and maintain clean work areas while passing required drug and physical screenings. This on-site role emphasizes teamwork and reliability across all levels.

• Able to pass drug screen and physical.

Job Description:

We are looking for a Laborer to provide support by performing basic railcar repairs. You will repair parts of metal or other weldable materials according to layouts, work orders, blueprints, schematics, and sketches. You will assist with performing a variety of rail car repair related tasks and working in a TEAM environment, establishing good working relationships at all levels.

Job Requirements:

• Use a variety of tools and equipment such as pneumatic and hydraulic tools, grinders, jacks, welders, cutting torches, forklifts, and cranes.
• Read specifications, shop drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
• The ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
• The ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
• The ability to lift 50 pounds with proper body mechanics.
• Ability to work within a teamwork environment with regular and predictable attendance.

Pay Range: 23.85 - 29.15
