Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Janitorial Supervisor for the 2nd shift to oversee daily janitorial operations across assigned buildings. You will supervise staff, ensure contracted service quality, and maintain client relationships as a hands-on site leader.

The role requires 1–3 years of supervisory experience in janitorial or facility services, strong communication, and a proactive leadership style. The position offers comprehensive benefits and a competitive hourly wage of $27.20–$32.00.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in janitorial or facility services.
• Working knowledge of cleaning methods, procedures, equipment, and safety standards.
• Ability to manage schedules, inventory, payroll, and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to interact effectively with employees, management, and clients.
• Fluent in English and Spanish preferred/required.
• Motivated, proactive, and solution-oriented leadership style.
• Background check required.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall direction, coordination, and supervision of janitorial personnel across shifts and buildings.
• Supervise daily operations to ensure services are performed as contracted and meet or exceed customer specifications.
• Assist in managing project activities and overseeing assigned janitorial crews.
• Coordinate staffing, work schedules, and assignments; prepare and submit weekly payroll time sheets.
• Establish and maintain work performance and quality standards.
• Conduct routine site inspections, quality assurance checks, and facility audits.
• Manage inventory, materials, and equipment usage, including key control procedures.
• Address and resolve on-site service delivery issues, employee concerns, and customer inquiries.
• Support snow removal services as required (seasonal).
• Lead orientation and onboarding of new employees; provide ongoing training, coaching, and development.
• Participate in safety programs, safety committees, and required management or technical training.
• Oversee conference room setups and assist with internal moves or special projects as needed.
• Maintain effective and professional client relationships through regular communication.
• Perform employee evaluations, troubleshooting, and corrective actions as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support site and account objectives.
