Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Janitorial Supervisor for the 2nd shift to oversee daily cleaning operations across assigned buildings in California. You will supervise janitorial staff, ensure compliance with contract specs, manage schedules, and maintain strong client relationships.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, safety, quality, and coordination with operations management. Travel is minimal and bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in janitorial or facility services.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, procedures, equipment and safety standards.
• Ability to manage schedules, inventory, payroll and multiple priorities.
• Strong verbal and written communication; bilingual English/Spanish preferred or required.
• Commitment to safety, quality and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and supervision of janitorial personnel across shifts and buildings.
• Ensure services are performed as contracted and meet customer specifications.
• Coordinate staffing, schedules, and weekly payroll time sheets.
• Maintain work standards and perform site inspections and audits.
• Manage inventory, materials, and equipment usage with proper control.
• Address on-site service issues and customer inquiries; lead onboarding and training.
• Support snow removal and assist with moves or special projects as needed.
• Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication.
