Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Janitorial Supervisor for the 2nd shift (Full Time) to lead the on-site cleaning team at our Medford, MA facility.

You will supervise staff, schedule work, ensure safety, and maintain cleanliness to meet client standards. 1-3 years of supervisory experience and bilingual English/Spanish are required; a background check is required. Shift: 2:30pm–11:00pm; pay: $22.95–$27.00/hour.

Qualifications

• One to three years of supervisory experience and up-to-date knowledge of cleaning practices/procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; background check required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and work with cleaning equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, schedule and assign cleaning staff for interior building cleaning.
• Inspect areas, issue supplies, and conduct inventory of materials.
• Train staff, conduct performance reviews, and assist with hiring decisions.
• Prepare reports on occupancy, hours worked, and department expenses.
• Oversee exterior cleaning, snow removal, and basic maintenance as needed.
• Respond promptly to safety issues and ensure proper use of cleaning equipment.
