Job summary

L3Harris is seeking a dedicated Material Handler for our Salt Lake City, UT site. You will pick, pack, count, weigh, measure, and inventory materials to support fast-paced operations and ensure accuracy across the supply chain. Commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork is essential.

Responsibilities include receiving, storing, and distributing materials, while maintaining precise records and complying with safety standards. Willingness to work overtime as needed is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-secondary/associate’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• Experience with material handling equipment and safety procedures is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for accurate inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, storing, picking and distribution of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
• Inspect incoming materials and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Operate material handling equipment (where certified) and ensure safe work practices.
• Prepare materials for shipment or production and verify quantities before packing.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas and report discrepancies to supervisors.
