Job summary

Honor Foods is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist (ICS) for 2nd shift in Philadelphia, PA. The role focuses on ensuring inventory accuracy, analyzing discrepancies, and coordinating with management to keep records in order. You must be able to lift 40–50 lbs and work in coolers/freezers as needed.

Qualifications include 18+ years old, basic Excel, and strong English communication. Prior inventory experience and forklift familiarity are a plus, with full-time hours and weekend flexibility

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel required.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English instructions.
• Good communication skills.
• Must be well-organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must pass pre-employment testing, including physical ability tests.
• Previous inventory experience is a plus.
• Experience with stand-up and reach forklifts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Count and analyze inventory, noting discrepancies and informing management of any issues.
• Keep inventory organized and accurate.
• Resolve customer issues related to inventory, such as shortages or damages.
• Set up items and storage areas to improve shipping and receiving.
• Monitor the warehouse management system for outstanding invoices.
• Use an RF gun to select products.
• Maintain inventory records per SOP.
• Operate the warehouse management system.
• Check and rotate stock as needed.
• Report daily counts accurately.
• Lift cases weighing 40 to 50 pounds.
• Keep track of damaged products and report them daily.
• Communicate with managers and supervisors regularly.
• Be willing to work in cooler and freezer environments.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and suggest solutions.
• Perform other tasks assigned by management.
