Herr Foods Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator for our North East, MD team. The role focuses on executing daily and weekly inventory counts, maintaining AS400 records, and ensuring accuracy of on-hand materials.

Shift is 2nd from 3:30pm to 1am, Monday–Friday, with potential overtime based on business needs. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in logistics or inventory control, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with WMS/ERP systems.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years related experience in Logistics, Inventory Control, and/or Warehousing; 3 years plus preferred.
• Microsoft Office Suite intermediate experience; advanced skills preferred.
• Knowledge of WMS and/or ERP systems.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently or as a team.
• Proactive in problem-solving and creative solutions.
• Flexible schedule to include weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and reconcile daily cycle count processes and reports within timeframe.
• Analyze inventory discrepancies and variances; resolve effectively.
• Maintain and update AS400 inventory daily; ensure accuracy.
• Validate delivery paperwork against purchase orders and verify accuracy.
• Provide inventory reports to Sales team to assist product ordering.
• Collaborate with departments to improve processes and outcomes.
