Job summary

O’Neil Digital Solutions is seeking an Inserter Operator I to set up, operate, and maintain inserting equipment used to fold, match, and insert printed materials into envelopes. You will ensure accuracy and efficiency in processing mail pieces and kits, with focus on safety and adherence to work standards.

The role requires basic reading of tickets, equipment maintenance, and collaboration with the team to meet production goals. Prior experience in a printing/mail environment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in printing or mail inserting environment preferred.
• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Demonstrates honesty, integrity, and a commitment to productivity, quality, and timeliness.
• Ability to read and follow job tickets and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Set up inserting equipment at job start per job ticket specifications.
• Insert address tags into mail sacks or trays for bulk mailing of IDs, kits, and catalogs.
• Maintain equipment, troubleshoot problems, and perform preventative maintenance.
• Keep the work area clean and follow safety regulations.
• Direct and supervise helpers on the machine when needed.
• Communicate status of jobs to department manager.
